Another couple of hours has seen the inner guards removed, the front panel opened up, the dash pulled out & the pedal box removed. No turning back now.

Clubman front? Looks like heaps more room than have
yeah - but the length is practically the same. Its the rounded top end on yours which plays with space. Where yours rounds down mine goes practically straight. You will have to cut a chunk more out of the drivers side fender front area to fit your radiator. All other dimensions are actually the same and pretty spacious.Quote:

I started draft 1 of my subframe on the weekend and dropped the engine in. As expected the steering rack is going to cause problems. As its in the way of the diff. Some modification required!
I Used 50x25 RHS but thinking it might need to be 40x25

The engineer had approved. 38x25x1.6 RHS All Gal tubing so I have just ordered it and pick it up Thursday. Ready for the weekend.
On another note, I have cut away another 5-7mm from the rack and sealed it back up. Every mm helps
