Well basically I used to spend a lot of time on the OCAU forums reading/learning about cars because there weren't any aussy honda sites or civic sites. Then basically just setup a phpbb forum and I thought i'd give it a month to see how it goes. If it didn't go anywhere, I figured i'd scrap it and then just forget the money I paid for the domain name and hosting.

Well as you could have guessed, it grew bigger and bigger and it got to a stage where I just didn't have the time to look at all the new users in the member list OR to read EVERY post made each day. So that's pretty much it. Thinking back the site has come a long way and one thing I wanted was for it to become a resource of good information. So far soo good and we're getting more and more info and DIYs as we go. In the scheme of things, Ozhonda is still pretty young but so far so good. As long as we can keep the spamming/bickering to a minimum and have related/on topic technical discussions, then I'd know the site is the way I want it to be.

sure has improved a heap since i first checked it out with my old nick in 2003 back with the old design lol.
i was at the first vic meet in the rain at albert park.... then got lost in carlton, gave up and booted home lol:rolleyes:

I still remember when Win was also on www.teamevade.com and posted about OzHonda.com. That's where I was from and this is the best Honda forum!

i love this forum. good to see an aussie Honda forum. he yanks dribble on too much and its hard to get info/gear thru them
