Steelies are very heavy compare to quality(JDM) alloy wheels, even the stock alloy in same size. but still lighter than most replicas.
i used to have a set of oz made replicas, which are 15 x 6.5JJ, with 205/50/15 tyres, weight 17kg/each!!! this is the weight of a quality JDM alloy wheel in size of 17" plus tyre.
Cheers
My friend gave me some JDM 14" lightweights (i think they're lightweight anyway :p). They'd be better than stockies...
I just have to get my tyres moved onto them and put them on my car.
mine 2 , plus they r much wider LOLQuote:

i have just put on a set of sprint harts (lights) and with a tire inflated they weigh 11kg, the guy which i got them off put my fat fives on his car and he said it felt surpisingly heavy....
i got out of the tire place and couldnt beleive it, its like the accelleration feels better, like when changing between gears it doesnt lag as much as it did and as wyn said feels more torquey. feels great and looks awesome
yeah 15x7... .. steelies are mostly 15x6...
but steelies are lighter than about 70% of the alloy wheels of the same diameter out there and its under $50 a set...
btw... alloy is alot softer than steel
ive only got rotas.. feels and weights like OEM enkei alloy..
all you lucky fellas... i want the evomaster ones too...
how much are they a set?
if you wanna sell your rotas, let me know
