Probably: Increasing the length off ANY induction piping will actually gain torque across the rev range through better cylinder filling... Basic law of fluid dynamics but you probably weren't paying attention to that in high school science...

Pod filters, or more specifically paper type pod filters actually use the same material as standard, so of course they filter the air and best of all, with more surface area, they breathe better and longer than a standard filter...

A good quality exhaust will let the engine breathe, meaning less heat generated which means less stress on the engine... However, if you drive like a tool and rev the sh!t outa ya motor cause ya think ya cool with one, that will stress the motor.

So exactly what would cause this stress?? Besides the drivers right foot??

WTF are you on about?? A cold air intake which is what this thread is about takes air not from the hot air inside the bonnet.

If you don't like this forum, then go to some other forum on volvo's or knitting or something.
