Why are u interested on the VTIS anyway??
Is it better to get Vti instead if i want to get my own bodykits?
I think the VTi and VTi-S are the same apart from the trim and the exterior cosmetics so if you want to get your own aero you would be best off buying a cheaper VTi model and using the spare money to buy a decent kit. This is what I am doing ;)Quote:

They are fanastic cars mate. I am buying one after owning several performance cars for quite a few reasons.
They use bugger all fuel and have great performance considering, they have great tuning potential and parts availability, they are quality built, they handle very well even in stock form, the engine is very nice, they are spacious for a small car, they look great etc etc.
Check out this article if you need convincing http://autospeed.drive.com.au/cms/A_1762/article.html
I have another q's....... are Gli really so slow? I know they are not meant to be fast but at least they are strong enough to climb uphills and stuff......Quote:

Personally I would go for the VTi which has heaps more potential for tuning later if that's what you want. If you just want something economical and you aren't worried about performance go for a GLi. I think with the GLi though air is an option and an expensive one at that.
GLi is really good in fuel efficiency and econmical.. as claimed by Honda 5.xL/100km. My friend own a VTi and he is getting like low 6.xL/100km and I own a VTiS and I am getting high 6.xL/100km to 7L/100km. (that was before the mod) I think the reasons are bigger wheels, added weight (body kit) etc.
IMO, If you want fuel efficiency, forget about the mod. Like in my case, after putting a few simple mod, headers, mufflers and pod.. the trip went up to 7.3l/100km for daily usage..
VTi is the best way to go if you want to get your own kit and wheels.
