all my discs are fine, haven't had one stuff up - even my very old ones i burnt years ago.
I use TDK gold still - coz it's cheap. But most of my collections are DVD's..
so need a DVD player :)

On DVD? You use DVD-Audio? Or is it mp3s on DVD?Quote:

Well, the dealer couldnt get the disc out and says he has to replace the unit(?). Very strange!?! The radio is still working. man, this is going to cost me an arm and a leg
They're not covering it under warranty!?
Eh...well I did not raise the issue.
They just said they were going to replace it - no mention of costs...yet
I suspect they may try the: You shouldn't use DVD-Rs, etc. arguement.
I will have to plead ignorance and point to the fact that the owner's manual says nothing on the subject
You will not pay anything.Quote:

Took my Euro in on Monday 29/8 and they replaced the CD player - no Charge! They said they have taken the old unit away to have the CDs removed and returned to me - very nice of them. So it was a very good outcome. Many thanks to everyone for your support and encouragement. I will be a bit more careful what CDs I put into the stacker from now on...
Good to hear that your problem was resolved!
Your dealer is so nice, even make the effort to retrieve your stuck CDs... :thumbsup:Quote:
