<--- crying out for some METRIC sanity!!!!!!
ok, I've been in the U.S. for tooooooo long. We put in 4 1/2 quarts of oil in a b series for an oil change. Now during 3,000 miles or a bit more, loseing 1 quart is acceptable if the car is not stock any longer.
ok.
yeah i thought a "quart" was a different measurement from metric... its a standard measurement right? so a quart doesn't mean a quarter at all... haha...
haha
damn im such a bad guesser =P
quart = quarter of a gallon, doesn't it?Quote:

In all cases, the quart equals 2 pints.

hey guys i my l level is fine
Im gonna take the car to the track in sept n looking into gettin a full service done before then
yes, i would suggest it is not oil like mentioned above, but fuel,
so if you can smell it it would give you a better idea,
you should reset the ECU* first before anything else
(pull the "backup/radio" 7.5A fuse from the fuse box in the engine bay for about 15 seconds - you will lose your radio stations etc)
this will set the 'long term fuel trim' A/F maps back to factory as the ECU may have 'learned' to run richer due to your airflow modifications...
i hope that this will solve the problem...
* sorry i meant to type ECU first time instead of EUC, :dumb:
hahah
i was like damn..ill just pretend to know wat an EUC is...til i figured it out LOL
dun worrie bout it man .... i recently got my v-afcII in my DC2R tuned by toda AU ( adrian), i ask what all the smoke was from and he said not to worrie bout it.
