How would that work? Vtec cam change is done through oil pressure, not the ecu telling it to.Quote:

hey i was on carsales.com.au and they had the normal Si, and Si 4WS
wats the diff?
the SI 4WS is pointless...just allows better steering around corners...but its a bitch to align...4 wheel steering

In fifth gens, its all different, honda was using a lot of money in producing these vehicles, and decided to make more extras optional to save money, so that the si didnt get sunroof, or spoiler unless was specially requested.
JDM vehicles, are also completely different, u get lots of extras, but because these are illegal imports, these are very hard registate in other states, and have issues with complicancing cause most have there vin number missing.
I bought an Si cause it was the best quality car i could find at the time.
All 4th gen Si's came with 4ws, no 5th gens. I like my 4ws, only a small difference, but the steering is heaps lighter, and responds better when going at quick speeds.Quote:

i only found this out recently but 94 vtir is the only 4ws version while all si models have 4ws
im also looking for a new lude, so would it be worth getting say a 98-99 5th gen vtir tiptronic or should I go for a manual? i love my cruises but i also enjoy the speed, although been driving auto for 3 years so not too good at manual, but i could always learn :p
Someone help me with the prices??
