what amp should i get?

I'm really not a fan of wankers who diss stuff based on the brand name or the country of origin. For the money, you couldn't get anything from anywhere else with a spec sheet that comes within shouting distance of Response gear. About the only thing someone really "serious" about car audio can find fault with about these products is the fact that they don't have speaker level line in (like Coustic or MTX) and their noise floor is not up to the standards of serious Audiophile grade amps. As an SPL amp, the Response monoblock is better value than anything else out there. Go and ask a salesperson if they can give you a brand name monoblock with 800wrms that can drive at 1ohm loads for $400 and they'll laugh at you.
