hahah,
infact im a trained monkey tought to work on Honda's
Hahaha
hey that gave me an idea where to place those ballasts
These HID's were purchased from one of the traders in this forum...i think there is only one trader who stock this brand HID so give it a search and you will find-
they are 7500k
i think the scariest part is not damaging the actual globe and for a first time removing the bumber off... Id say the DC5 bumber is so much more easier to remove than the accord.. for first timers :)
thats the aim of this thread :)Quote:

Just wondering, is it me or are your headlights uneven?
So those are 6000k hey? How would you compare it to S2k lights? lol
Damn that looks sweet as! good job to all 3 of yas! wouldnt mind seeing them in person one day!
"plug in the transformer power feed from the head light low beam connector, make sure you wrap up the connector with insulation tape, also ensure corect polarity."
Can you further explain that step please?
From the diagram, it seem syour just puttin them 2 wires into the slots there and just taping them up? Is this correct?
yes insulation tape. that is correct. or aka electrical tape, just to ensure it does not come undone, or anything that may go into the connection just a precaution to prevent damage to the ballast, globes, car etc.,
they are ***7500k*** as i said previosuly
Polarity.. this means that just check that red is acually positive n black is actually negative because the set we got in.. were the otherway around --- even though we did conect the globes the wrong way @ first there was no damage to the globes, ballast, car. so before u get upset saying it is not working just check.. make sure u have good jumper leads too to check for the polarity of the wires. quite simple.
follow instructions in the manual.. if u get stuck look here ^_^ this is what this DIY is for --- A GUIDE to assist in installing your own HID=
once u see the wiring yourself, you will truely understand. if u have any trouble installing take some pics post them up and explain what is wrong and im sure many of us will be able to assist in any possible way ^_^
and for uneven... did u notice that the car is not directly straight. its parked on the angle against the wall ^_- hope this clears everything up
thanks all
do u really need to take off so much crap to fit it in ? any easier way ?
Hey ECU MAn
Thanks for the article. It sure did help me with my installation especially whereabouts to mount the ballasts!
