b18c stock internals MAX boost

You do know that eventually the rings will give way as you are turboing a used stock n/a motor. When my motor was stock I was running 9psi (didn;t last too long), I know a couple of people running 7psi stock and the motor is running fine so try to stick to the trend if you want to play safe. Don't be like me and push it to the limit.

a lot of what you're talking about has more to do with the quality of the tune then the amount of psi one is running. You could blow an engine on 3 psi with a bad tune, or run 12 without a problem on a great one. There are FAR too many variables to say if a engine can be ran at a certain psi.

i know il be saving more money if i do it all at the same time but if i wana do internals on my block i want to sleeve aswell which i dont have enough for and toda au your right dyno dave will set it up for me at right amount of boost and be safe thanks for that,and evberyone else for there replies

its my mates eg man he got a b16a stock engine with a t28 200sx turbo and other stufff like intercooler, dunno dont know much about turbos anymore. he done 13.6qrtr he has the slips lol

my ex's dc2r turbo ran 4psi daily driven
only boosted it to 9psi MAX...
this car was never intended to go faster
listen to badhbt.. might as well do it right the first time and save $

I wanna see the timeslip!!! Lets see his MPH and 60" time.

get boost controll- run it at 6pounds then when racing flick the swithch and hit 9 or 10 eazy!!!

and besides sleevs u can throw in the internals urself without pulling the motor out

but wat u should get is tyres and susy if all u care about is the creek
iv seen u weelspin wildely when trying to launch

A brand new engine?

Remove Engine From Engine Bay And Put Back In - $Free, or your share of an engine crane with a few mates... Get your hands dirty and do things yourself. It's not hard...

Everyone here should stop thinking that boost is a magical number which once you get to a certain level things blow. Start measuring things in POWER, not BOOST.

The day everyone makes the same power on the same boost is the day that you can all measure things by boost.

Some people can make DOUBLE the power of another person with the same boost. You think that the person with more power will be running a motor just as safely?

On a stock B18C block, i'm going to say 175fwkw or so to be on the safe side. But in the end it all depends on the tune, and how much and how badly you press the GO pedal...

im running roughtly 6.8 - 7psi and im gettin 170.6fwkws

Teggy VTi-R can you post what you are running, like turbo, manifold etc?
