The solution:
Flip the O-Ring under the bolt, and add an additional washer (Zimp recomends a spring washer but a flat washer will also suffice). Tighten bolt back on with Strut bracket and Wa-La..!!!
No more creaking......
Aint these forums a wonderful thing...!!!!!
All this without having to jack the car up.....Hhahaha...and Zimp can vouch for me...i hate jacking the car up......!!!!
Yay..!!!
that's good :D
the creaking noise gave me headaches too when i first had it :P
i cut out some foam padding, and placed that between the metal peice and the strut brace...no more sound then either....does anyone know if the 3rd strut rear bumper will make much difference?
Cool Supatt...thanks for the added suggestion.....
Yes, I have a similar question in terms of the "room bar"....the one that is fitted to the roof in the rear of the vehicle....not to sure if this bar adds much value???? Sure as hell adds to an eye sore....but if the performance outweighs the eye-sore....than thats definitelyto be considered.
Ive heard the rear bumper bar is really troublesome to fit as there is some modding to the fastening points required.
yeah...i think u must drill holes in the metal behind the bumper...looks like a big hassel......and that metal seems very strong already.....not sure...though...hoping some one could let us know..=).hahah.......when i first installed that strut brace....it was making so much noise the first time my mum drove the car after i installed it...she thought the car was broken....hehe...lucky fixed it fast!==)...
every strut is there for a reason... in other words, all of them helps improving the handling of the car... as maxxjazz mentioned, the boot bar and the tower bar oredy make a difference, wat u think of the rest??? u will feel the difference up 2 a certain degree.... hihihi..... as for the inner bumper strut, u have to make extra hole on the end bit of the strut itself not the car... i dunno y but the holes dont aligned with the holes on the car (mayb different design overseas... ).. jazz is really fun.... hope this helps....
Thanks Zimp.....
On that note, what value does the Room Bar represent?? Apart from being able to function as a secondary hangar to hang my jacket...????
all are to make ur car stiffer... hehehe.... also can hang ur underwear... hihihiQuote:

you shouldn't have to drill anything, they should make it so it fits . . .
Pete :)
nah the xforce one needs to drill holes..coze it's not aligned properly..maybe the jdm jazz is abit different
so in the whole xforce bars package.. out of the 6 only the rearbumper bar needs to drill hole.. others r bolt-on correct??
wat about the summit ones?? anyone knows?
