Thanks for all the advice guys. I've got the base model and for $600 should probably look towards the Spoon springs (except i'm in Canberra)..how much for installation?
Do you guys happen to have pics of DC5 with any of these springs as well as the size of rim etc..just so i can get a feel at what i'm getting (ie looks, "gap" - currently stock wheels)
i guess i don't want to look like ANS now do i...
So Spoon springs for $600 .. where can i get them , which model and how much for installation.
Thanks everyone for providing some much needed advice.
installation is around $200 to $300, including wheel alignment
getting spoon, tein and kg/mm springs isn't as hard as you may think
here are some examples

damn
they are from imagestation.com
crap...
i'll just send them to ya
Atom - I am in Canberra. You can go and visit Jerry at J Racing for springs. Tell him Simon sent you. Alternatively, you can source some through tanghy or z10 as they are 2 good guys.
Installation in Canberra - I used Capital Steering and Suspension in Fyshwick for my H&R springs on my DC5R, but most shops should be able to do it. If money is not an issue, see Chris at Inline Steering and Suspension in Queanbeyan. He is the best and charges for it too.
Good luck.
Thanks Tofu just got them
Guys ,
Another dumb question.. whats the difference and which is better - straight or progressive springs?
progressive for road
straight for track
the saga continues...
went to see Chris @ inline and he said the "springs were on the bump stops"? :( also he says that they king springs that have been cut  and that the rear sway bar was sitting on the exhaust :x so have to get it fixed ASAP...if anybody can give some explaination to the first problem that would be great...
Currently they are sitting @ 33cm front and rear..(is this good/bad?)
What would they be if i had Spoon springs?
Means that the springs have collapsed and don't work - thats what happens when you use Kings. Worse when you cut them
