i suppose where to wil do for me....but yeah i dunno, i will have to read up a bit more beforehand because i dunno which ones ill need the high pressure press and where i dont.
u have the engine mount inserts too yeah? how r the vibrations really? if u put a glass of water on the dash how bad does/would it ripple. does it kind of "settle" in and vibration lessen? theres only two components for the 5th gen motor mount insert kit, front and rear, with this said i have a brand new front engine mount sitting on the pool table but i was told i should only put in the rear mount because its more prone to cracking. so i was thinkin i should do both but i dont want to compramise too much of my comfort as my car is a daily driver.
your best of putting one in first and seeing how you go
my mounts have warn in but the whole car is stiff on stiff suspension so driving is smooth but at traffic lights the car doesnt rattle
when i pull seconds the dash jumps
this isnt as harsh

hullo,
just thought I'd add a little detail not mentioned so far...
Energy Suspension Master kit doesn't include rear suspension bushes. Don't think ES make them yet for our cars (EK Civics).
Prothane Master kit does include rear suspension bushes.
There are two types of front lower control arms found on EK civics. Master kits are usually for the cast two piece LCAs.
Prothane rear trailing arm bush includes the metal outer shell (and inner pivot pin) which explains why it mucho $$$. If you've got time and tools go ES, otherwise Prothane.
There's a lot of debate about poly RTA's and suspension bind on honda-tech. A quick description is wheel hop, only side ways. Supposed to be an issue on cars taken to track but not really on street. Seems like some really knowledgable people think OEM or Mugen RTA's are the way to go.
Prothane RTA bush and ES RTA bush are NOT compatible. Must use Prothane pivot pin with Prothane bush. (Not sure who this might apply to, but I'm listing everything...)
I think I'm done now...
Nick.
are the mounts the top ones ?? or the bottom ones ?
great werk and clean bay
Awsome Stuff!
Exactly wot im looking for!
If ur still reading this SKREMN, did the suspension stiffen up with the Energy Suspension bushings?
Also, were there any other bushings u bought on the side?
my teg i recently bought need them done
cheers mate
so will the ES master kit replace pretty much every bush for the rear? coz i gotta get some changed. Anyone know what the rear upper l/link, upper lateral link and r suspension fr. lat link bush is? are they in the master kit? coz i have searched and can't find any.
I read this last night and if it makes ya car shake quite a bit then that's not gonna be very comfy for a daily...
Is there a combo of these bushes you can do that wont make the car shake rattle and roll? Is it worth it?
