Has anyone driven the new Civic sport 2L?

what do ppl that have driven it think???
it has potential???
will out gun a vtir civic is the question???

wont beat a Vtir off the shelf, But i do believe not much work is needed for it too be a big hitter (mmmmm mugen supercharger). Also Great drive very comfy.... That being from the auto.

i think it does have potential but only time will tell to what extent. will it outgun an ek4 propably.

so it defenetly wont even keep up with a teggy vtir??

yeh the civic is way too heavy with all the saftey features.

I don't get wtf it only has 114KW for a 2L DOHC. Talk about getting de-tuned a ripped off.

I mean 125KW would have been nice with 188Nm of torque.

I think its more to do with marketing. Because if it had much more it would be on par / better than the base Integra.

after driving the 06 civics for a few days now i think they are great cars!
i'd choose the sport over a euro for sure.

and MKI4EVA your dealers should let u change rims on it, i know at ours we have a selection of the honda rims on a stand (i'm not in sales but i presume as an option to choose rims)

MKI4EVA, panda has pretty much said it all, your dealership should let you change rims, as the dealership i asked say that i would be allowed without voiding the warranty depending on rim size. But you best to ask the dealership you (may be) purchacing the car from. IMO as long as you dont go over the stock rolling diameter you should be fine. And yes they are great cars. And i still stand by my belief that they need the mugen dominators spoiler on them

well, it boils down to individual preference.. for my $33k, i will go for Euro. to me, leather is nice to have.
putting it in prespective, $33k means a RRP + on road cost of $3k for the civic sport. almost double the typical honda average of $1.5k.
