depending on how good ur rubber is and ur reaction time...
most lil 4 cyl's should beat a normal v6 or v8 off the line - just once the v8s torque kicks in they eat us in 3rd gear !!! its a fact. WE cant mess with cars 2 times + ou rcapacity on a straight line. But show them a curvy road and we are grining ! :D
I beg to differ, I dont see how a lil 4 cyl like ours with half as much torque can beat a v8 off the launch. I think v8 torque will move the car alot faster off the mark.
Further, we have FF as opposed to FR.
An Auto V8....can be taken off the mark, but not a manual. RWD has much less wheelspin and will swallow you up if its a manual!
Owen,
I luv hearing about Honda sleepers beating V8's!
yeh i agree auto u can beat off the mark
but generally manual is quicker
unlkess they r crappy driver
but yehif u got common mod like exhaust and intake u should beat old 5L V8
but not the new 5.7L V8
or an old 5.0l vs commodore with a stroker kit
beats u from start to finish ey booget?
my friend raced his sisters itr-turbo against a hsv clubsport and said it was the only car he lost to. he raced the clubbie three times from a standing start and lost once. the other 2 races were very close.
is that the new clubsports??
those hsv mofo's r fkin crazy. i think 300+kw stock :D
i wouldnt be able to tell u if it was the VR/VS clubbie or VT/VX, he just said clubsport
all u honda nerds know far more about commies than u do about our own Hondas ! :P
hahah nice kill regardless, still a v8! almost 3 times ur displacement hahah, that'll teach them for sayin our engines are smaller than milk bottles :P
