The obsession with JDM has sorta died down but there is still a craze out there for JDM. Just look at the U.S. Perfect example.

i was comparing apples to apples, you are talking about one individual/company. If this aussie company/individual is so good at their work, how come most people over here have not heard of him / or company ??? I am one to support local industry, but when talking to many people from not only australia but over the world on a daily basis i have never heard of anything australian mentioned especially when talking about headers/exhausts that have bettered or even matched what has been developed overseas, i have in regard to other car parts though.

you did not read my entire post did you. I was referring to exhaust / headers, and stated near the end was the fact that their other companies / products in australia that are recognised overseas.

Yes there is too much emphasis on what comes from japan must be the best.
