that's pretty much it
but from the stuff u got there
u need a gearbox
shift linkages.
gear box is not stuck to the back of the block it's
attached next to the box
if u look @ the engine from fromt on
it'll be on your left side.

hrmmz ive been researching alot and done a fair but of prep' work and found this workshop manual u properly know of it .. that honda.co.uk
it didnt have 92" civic but there is one for the 95-97 civics on how to remove the engine .. is it the same with my engine
also if u got heaps of exp with gl > vtir conversion just wandering if you are from melbourne i can pay u to come help me out when i get started and wandering how long would my car be off the road if its like start to finish how much man hr would be needed to finish it
sorry mate i aint in MELB
ofcourse i can help ya over the net / msn etc
pm me if u want my contacts.
anywayz. the b16a removed from the 95-97 EK model will fit your car
but you'll need EG6/DC2 B serise engine mounts for starters
you might need a OBD1 -> OBD2 converter.
as yours is a carby you'll have to use the EK firwall wiring and use the converter.
hey are all engine mounts in d series and b series the same danny?
i thought the ecu from a ek4 was a p28? plus where would you find a obd2 converter is it a program or is it like another ecu?
nah the D serise and B serise mounts are different.
only the front right side is the same. ( botls on the gearbox.)
EK4 can have a P28 or a P30 ECU but most JDM ECU's are P30's ( Rare as and $$$ too)
ODB2 to OBD1 coverter is a little plug converter. it's a hardware not a software.
hrmmz so with the mounts i got to get how many more ?
btw when u were doing the conversion .. what else did u needed (tool wise) besides the obvious.. like socket set , driver set , jack /stands , engine hoise ..? anything other then that?
that is pretty much it
there are 3 main mounts and 2 supp mounts.
2 supp mounts are
a/c and gearbox mounts.
3 are located on the side of the block and @ the rea of the block.
soo danny .. which one of my eg4's mounts of them 5 can be use
only the drivers side gearbox mount. Rest need to be B series to suit your engine bay...Quote:
