yeah it should be right. That "2" isn't apart of it. Should be something like this on the engine....

hey guys, went to look at the engine today, the engine code is right, also saw a stamp of PR3 on the head, however I couldn't really find the year on the head, I saw a stamped circle with a line in the middle, and there is a number "9" and "8" stamped on each side. Is this the year that the engine was made?
yep that's the one. so seems all good man 98 spec JDM ITR right there.

D, B, K, F, H? all these letters sound like vitamin names.
9|8 means the engine was made in the year 1998, and can be/ might have been used in '98 car or '99 car yea?
