What Colour did you choose for your 06 Civic (Poll)

just been informed that my ruby red civic wont arrive till another 3-4 weeks. but he can get me the alabaster silver within a week if im interested. anyone has a photo of the new civic in this colour (alabaster silver)? :(

If I were you I'd stick with Ruby Red. Why? Ruby Red is full of personality and it attracts attention whereas the silver is extremely "ordinary"- the opposite of what the Red signifies.

As for the silver, that's the standard silver and if you have the Civic brochure (ie. the book- not the 4-sheets-folded), open the front cover and the fold-out I think is a silver. If not, I'll get you some pics off other sites- it's the colour they use to advertise the VTi/VTi-L models the most I think (look in the Accessories brochure as well if you're still trying to find a picture).

i've seen the picture of alabaster silver on the brochure, however, i'd prefer to see an actual photo under natural lighting. if anyone here has a silver civic, could you post them up for me to see please? :)

YEa.. finally someone recommend red. lol

Red was my second choice of colour. The only thing going against it was it's a very much 'love it or hate it' colour which means whilst I liked it's character now- I could end up getting sick of it, and I was worried later on the paint might fade and look disgusting.

Sorry to crash this...but when I saw ruby red, the 1st thought that came to mind was "oldie's color..." hehehe, just my opinion. :p

It may be a bit of an oldies colour... but for the FD1 in Australia, it's the only colour which has any real character/uniqueness- so maybe oldies might be attracted to it because it makes them feel younger :)

I saw a nice Ruby Red VTi go by today... quite the eye catcher. Except driven by a couple of oldies from the retirement village.
