You mean you don't know how to use the internet to search gear ratios from www.acura.com and from www.honda.com.au???? Don't expect to be spoon-fed. At least learn to google.Quote:

I had all ready checked and found the tsx gear ratios, but never anything specific about the accord, so I figured they had the same ratios and the final drive? so I never searched harder;)
but this sheds more light on things and means I have to change the final drive along with 2,3 and 4th gears. If I hadn´t stumbled on this information I would have been non the wiser:)
If you want harder acceleration, just use a shorter final drive. You don't need to change each gear ratio unless you want to specifically keep 1-2, 2-3 shifts in vtec.
the gear ratios arent too far apart from each other.. but that has nothing to do with the turbo kit fitting for a TSX.. if you tune the kit then those ratios mean nothing really
any luck contacting them precysestylez?
I still have no email from them so you should try calling. By the way, what did you have in mind for engine management?
Update - got a reply from germany!! I don't think they will mind if I post it up here as it could get them a sale.
4500 Euro is about $7500 AUD. With the quoted installation (not that anyone here will get it installed in Germany)- it would be about $10k.
Excuse me if I am ignorant but would that 280hp be at the wheels? If so that would be over 200kw at the engine which would be very nice indeed.
....
Hello,
thanks for your enquiry.
On the stock engine, up to 280 hp can be achieved.
We use a piggy-back-system and the stock ECU is not touched.
The price for the CL9 turbokit is 4500,- Euro,
installation of the kit costs 1800,- Euro.
If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
Best regards

Piggyback + turbo......... I think I'll sit this one out.
yfin, turboing costs $10k? If you can sell the euro for $32k you will have about $42k, you can almost get a mazda6 mps 190kw!!
piggyback ECU and turbo?
what about a motec ECU replacement and this turbo kit? would that work?
