just a note if u still have a high idle it will pay off to take the whole throttle body off and clean out the cunk and check iacv and fitv valve as it will allow u to properly clean it out as sometime gunk gets stuck in small places and other small holes for sensors. Happen to mine as i cleaned it out 3-4 time and no difference then i decided to take the whole throttle body off, it will prob take the same amount of time anyway and its just as easy.
ok can i just ask, are all the IACV on the B series same ? so i can use a B16a vtir IACV for a B18cjdm ??

I did this DIY last week on a D-series 1st gen teggy.
I found that my IACV didnt have a mesh screen, is this right? I hope I havent dropped it.
Btw did you guys replace the seals when you did this?
there should be a mesh screen - it wont "fall out" so chances are yours doesnt have one. Its a good idea to chance those O rings at the same time

no. The FITV is located ON the throttle body , where the IACV is located on teh back of the inlet manifold.

Went home and checked my throttle body. The only thing behind there was the FITV.
Is it possible my engine type doesn’t have this? Could it be located under the throttle body and to get to it I would have to take off the throttle body?
should be there... get a mirror if u cant see.
Or maybe some glasses if you really can't see....But you would not need to remove the TB, but removing the intake arm would help give you room. It is probably underneath the TB just where the intake arm attaches and there'll be a coolant line going to it.
