Would you charge a fee for people to display their cars? The money may encourage people to commit once they have put their names down and could go towards prizes, be they trophies or sponsor products.
I could look into getting such an event magazine coverage, provided there are a decent number of cars of decent quality.

i have spoken to a few traders and they are willing u promote and sell their products at the event..
ofcourse there will be charges for entry.. and ofcourse prizes!!!!

if melb is serious about a show 'n' shine we can oraganise one at my work...we have show n shines every summer for the old school ford muscles we get around 200 cars ... and yeh its a very big event...music trophey's and gangster ass old school fords.
From memory u pay $18 for ur car....and because its at the drive-in movies that includes the ticket for the movie later on. :)
