so a rim is the other part of a wheel, which is a disk or a rigid circular ring connected by spokes or a hub???....:confused: ...
so a rim does not equal a wheel...a wheel is not a hub..rims are not hubs or steelies as they are just the other part of it....

IMO wheel = Rim/mag + tyre, cos we say four-wheel-drive not four-rim-drive. :)

yeah but n00bs who dont know anything about cars, call Rims 'Wheels', hence all the confusion and product naming changes :p

Rims = wheels
Alloys = wheels
Mags = wheels
Tyres = wheels
hubcaps = wheels
