will this intake come across any legal issues?
Filter alone doesn't change the sound much. You need either the icebox, SRI, CAI or if you are rich, the spoon or gruppeM intake.Quote:

yeah i think its ok cause the pod isnt actually in the engine bay, im not too worried about cops pulling me over, i drive rather cruizy, plus if i was pulled over i dont think theyd be checking under the bonnet of a brand new euro (unless i had been vtecing at the time :p )

Having a CAI vibrates the engine more than normal yeah?
Would this lessen the life of the engine, cause things to loosen up, etc..?
well the bolts securing the tube have rubber mounts so it doesnt vibrate. And since it is not a moving part nothing is gonna loose up. With the life of the engine, having a less restrictive intake system will not affect engine life. I have been having the new Injen and everything is fine.
