Spoon Racing torque damper for CL7 fit CL9?

If it fits, we should give some guiney pig award to TypeG :p
First person in the world to fit '03-'05 Mugen kit to his '06 and this CL7 engine damper on CL9. Unless there is someone else has done it but is not a member of cl9 forums lol

if anything we should give the guinea pig award to PEEKAY34

Would you notice any diff.in day to day driving with the damper fitted or is it just for fast/hard launches???

you may notice an improvement in throttle response and the feel beteen shifts, becuase the engine won't be rocking anywhere near as much.

for 330 - 380 they seem reasonably priced for a branded jdm part, but the JtSo design bracket is still tempting.

a spoon etd fitted to a DC5 (rsx) i have a feeling clearance with the PS hose may be similar for the CL9

The spoon engine mount bracket looks similar to the J's Racing one and if you can't reverse it and use a longer damper, then it won't clear the PS hose.

^ i was under the impression that was the case aswell... I'm really interested to see how TypeG and any others going ahead with these ETD's go about fitting them... who knows it might just (only just) fit?

by comparing the pix with the pix of my engine bar, it looks like it will JUST fit but we can always bend the PS hose. I bend a bit of the PS hose while fitting my cusco strut too.
