The Type S is a nice car.. I had one for about 1.5years... The only thing that annoyed me was its lack of practicality... You can't carry backseat passengers that are taller than midgets as the rear headroom is pathetic.
In regards to performance, a good CAI (injen) and coilovers should set you pretty well.. I had the Injen CAI and Buddyclub coilovers... was awesome, but yeah practicality was :thumbdwn:
I sat in two Type S' over the weekend on the cruise, and maracer, took them both for a quick shoot. Stock , vs intake, coilovers + mild exhuast upgrade
Stock was nice and pulled well, however the one that had coilovers, intake and mild exhaust upgrade, I found it pulled alot harder (probably because of the sound). He was wheel chirping even in third gear. I found it a very quick car, however headroom is very little in the back - there were 4 ppl in the car.
you could do a lot worse for rear seat room (legs and head) in a 2 door sports car: s15, audi tt, supra, and a few others. yakuza, are you willing to go for a turbo charged car?
