he means your engine sounds liek its stuffed. And will need alot of $$$ for a rebuild.
Its easier / quicker and cheaper to find ANOTHER D16a8 and just install it.

Yep motor is r**ted!! Now go out there and buy a twin cam vtec.

Sad to hear what happened to you man, i thought i did my head gasket but i was lucky and it was something else, and a lot cheaper. Like all the other ppls said it would cost you a lot less to get another engine than it would to rebuild yours. And if you are lucky, see if you can find just the block, and reuse as many parts off of you engine (ie. intake manifold, headers, gearbox etc...) we did that when i blew my SR20 and saved about 1000 by just getting the block and not everything.

best option is to get another motor.. Go to any wrecking yard and they will have some...

any suggestions on cheap wreckers in the west area (fairfield) ?

because i went to blacktown pick n payless and the only had an ek and a eh (GL)

drive to smithfield and you have 2 more options -

hontoys and
Honbits.
