can i just ask what is "Random Orbital"?

sanding method where rather orbital shaped sanding disc is random, ie. not only does it spin clockwise or counterclockwise; but both and it also wobbles around (well the good brand ones do anyway).

you can stick anything on these discs really, sanding sheets, buffing pads etc. they're used for sanding fine jobs or taking light coats of paint off

you can pick them up at bunnings, starting at about $30 going all the way upto $300+
if you go, id only recommend ozito for small shitty jobs, otherwise get a ryobi

btw, what if i just apply the Scratch X to the CF...how will that look like?

looks crap. trust me i tried everything. doesnt get the oxidation off at all, once you wipe it dry the dry crust is still there

I had a read on the introduction from Scratch X, it claims that it can removes those tiny scratches.
Apart from removing oxidation, can it do that job at all ?

yes it does remove small scracths but only the surface minor onces. anything that is too deap it wont.

you would need a rotary or random orbital to make the best of it too

very sexy look now all i need is something CF haha

for those surface minor scratches, what happen if i apply some "cut & polish" on it?
will the "cut" actually damage the clear coat of the CF but not refreshing it?
