It's a similar system to what the Accord Euro has.

I don't think the FN2 has massive mod potential as it seems like its come out of factory with a much better tune. Changing the air mods might only net smaller gains in comparison to the DC5R (Due to poor tune from factory). But only time will tell once more mods are available to the car.
If they can get 168kW out of the JDM CTR, then the FN2's CTR stil has at least 20kW of potential out of it. :)
2nd you on this post.
There is nothing wrong with the FN2R, I do not know why people are critical of the whole vehicle. If anything, I think the JDM CTR has less potential than a FN2R cause FD2R is already so well balanced and tuned from the factory, compared to the "detuned" FN2R. The only thing which might not be so "tunable" is the rear torsion beam, but I reserve my comments on that for now.
well..even there are areas of improvement over the NSX, so i think there's still things you can do to make the FN2 better, but at what costs?
If people are willing to spend $3k on rims, $1.5k on tyres, $4k on a bodykit for their cars, then that $8.5k put towards the engine instead should be enough to get your engine to make more power than the FD2R. :)
Its kind of like putting bolt on's to s2k's. They don't really net massive gains, because the engine is so well tuned from factory. But with deep pockets you can make anything happen.
To make a FN2R really quick or as quick as a FD2R, you need to spend much more than 4K. As I said before, the market hasn't mature as the car is still very new.
Slap on some light rims, good rubber and do what you can do to the suspension, then just spend the rest of the time the next 2 years getting to know the car and be a better driver than the car rather than the car is a better vehicle to you. Knowing the car's sweet spot and perfecting it is much better than having tons of mods on the car but not knowing the characteristics of the car.
