negative, the difference is that most the K'd civics are tuned by DynoDave.

ie "tuned"
and power to weight...
Nice increase  i have an S with full toda system and gruppe-m... have kpro ready to go once i get a tune i will let u know the increase u get from kpro and good tune
ie DC5R's are slow.
no it doesnt
Thanx m8.. let me know how u went
Would their be a 'healthy' increase if I added an ecu? Adrian told me that unless I do cams its not worth getting an ecu with my current mods.. apparently I'm only guna get 5-8 kw more max..
However.. cams + ecu im lookin at 150 kw
mphs and et is fine. there's no questioning that. more power, lighter chassis.
but it doesnt change the fact that a tuned dc5r makes less power
than a tuned eg k20 on the dyno..........right..
and that was his advice? gees.... the difference you'll experience with DynoDave tuning is night and day. And i'm not just talking about peak power, it's through out the rev range.
Mattski_Vtir will get his dc5 tuned soon by Dave. He can come back and tell you guys if it was worth it or not.
who are u comparing us dc5R's too?
From what i see. the EG k20's all have KPRO or some aftermarket ECU and tuned.. and hitting 140-150kw..
Us DC5R/S s are hitting 120-130kw (depending on dyno) with a full exhaust system and intake.. NO ECU or tune..
correct me if im wrong on the dc5R/S's are hitting 130kw with an ECU and tune.. if so thats low :S
