EAD = eat a dick

PCV - Positive Crankcase Ventilation (Can be known as Pressure Control Valve on common rail diesel engines aswell but not as common, esp on here!)
EGR - Exhaust Gas Recirculation
TPS - Throttle Position Sensor
MAP - Manifold Absolute Pressure
FPR - Fuel Pressure Regulator
PNP - Plug N Play
HEGO - Heated Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensor (or simply O2 Sensor)

I reckon it would be a good sticky if you get as much of these as possible and alphabetise them in the 1st thread. very useful

SRS - Supplementary Restraint System
MIL - Malfunction Indicator Lamp/Light
DLC - Data Link Connector
IAT - Intake Air Temp
IACV - Idle Air Control Valve
EOT - Engine Oil Temp

two i learnt today:
NTC - Negative Temperature Co-Efficient. (A sensor which when temp goes up its resistance goes down). Use: Common rail Diesel Air Temp Sensor
PTC - Positive Temperature Co-Efficient (A sensor which when temp goes up its resitance goes up). Use: Common rail Diesel glow plugs
