Thanks man!
Great write up Gio!!! just did it and works great
the step where you take the 2 screws out and jiggle the black casing is annoying cos u cant tell if the clips will snap off but yanking it out bit by bit does the job.
but all in all thanks for a great DIY article
No worries man.
Did it to mine today. Easy as. Got a few pics from it to unworry those that are worried about doing something wrong.

Back of the cluster. Those black and grey plastic things are ur LED/bulb holders for when you want to change dash colour. The 4 holes in the middle are the screws for the speedometer.

Tachometer being put to good use.
Great write up! I just rang Ultimate Jap Spares and they can post 1 down to me for $100. Is that reasonable?
Also, he actually asked if it's an auto/manual. Does it matter?
it kinda matters. if its auto you will need the auto cluster, the only difference is that the auto has lights in the dash for P, D, N, R, etc...manual dosent.
posted that seems pretty good. i got mine from the wreckers for 100 bucks pick up.
Thanks for the tutorial. Just wondering, do you have to disconnect your battery when attempting this? :)
Nope i didnt man :)
cool. thanks for the reply man.
No worries
Just got my cluster in today and replaced mine within 30 minutes. Was a little tricky pulling apart the plastic cover (I didn't want to crack it) but it was all good! Cheers for the write up.
