Mate, I always thought that AUDM DC2 ITR rims were 6.5" aswell. It make sense seeing that 205's fit so easily. but meh, maybe we are wrong...

so i finally got my rims n tyres on, post a pic of the combo later but just thought id give the Proxes R1R a bit of a review...
I literally felt a difference the second i took off from the workshop n i didnt even gun it. Mind u the tyres i had on the car previously r toyo proxes4 which r great but r more of an everyday tyre.
Thought id giv it a go off the line 2 c how it holds up n my car didnt hav enough power 2 handle the grip lol in my proxes4 id usually rev to 4k rpm n hav 2 ease off the clutch not 2 get wheelspin... in the R1Rs i drop it at 4k n it immediately grips after a split second wheelspin that jerks the whole car forward.
Awesoem tyres n from what im told have a moderately decent life of 12000-15000 ks whick isnt 2 bad 4 a race tyre... even in the wet the bastards stuck like glue.
They r directional tyres so they keep the car goin straight as an arrow.
I havnt had a chance 2 really push em thru corners yet but of what i did there was literally no understeer as apposed 2 my proxes4s.
Cant wait 2 giv em a go in the hills.
I think these tyres r perfect race-ish tyres that r also going 2 b used on streets quite frequently n r not 2 loud either (altho u do hear em). They set me back $740 for the full set (205x50x15) so they arent 2 pricey either.
Anyways... a definite *thumbs up* !
