Accord euro are a great VALUE luxury car, but you can't say with complete conviction that they're anything to be compared with a IS250. yes, both cars are seemingly similar, but are aimed at completely different markets. hence why you see 30 cu2/cl7/cl9 on the roads everyday and a lot less IS250.

both cars are not within the same price bracket for a reason. fact.

in terms of wheels, i agree with Rein, wheels for cars should be price relevant. for instance if you've bought a brand new $45K + car like the CU2 does it really do it justice to throw cheap wheels and tyres on? if anything you've reduced the quality of the car in doing so. spending 2K on wheels and tyres for myself for instance as I drive a 2000 Accord is more feasible as my car is only worth sub 11K.

would love to see a IS250/GS/G36 vs Accord Euro comparison to back up some of the previous statements.

ALso load rating 98 on a 245/19 tyre maybe hard to find.. probably be a high end tyre

The CL9 did much better, also most people who had or have a CL9 dont really like the CU2 so they havent bothered to upgrade.

Yeah , i thought the same thing till i drove it...the gulf in refinement and overall build and quality is quite noticable.
Btw, some people who bought the 03 to 08 euro may be using it as a stepping stone in their car life and have moved on to bigger and better things post euro.
If i didn't have property a bike and a work truck to worry about, i may have done that also, but the CU2 is hard to pass up for the money..makes the 320i ,A4 and c200 seem overpriced.
Also ATJO...The CL9 and CU2 have 2 totally different looks..CL9 more sporty 4 door as opposed to CU2 more classy.

LOL albii... For me, it's the other way around... sorry for CL9 owner, but for me the CL9 looks a bit "bapak bapak" car and the CU2 is somewhat sportier. but hey, its only my opinion :p

oh, but if you modded the looks of CL9 like atjo or alfa did, that's different story... :thumbsup:

man i wouldnt be comparing the cu2 to a 320i. they are in 2 different categories in my opinion. Ive driven both the cu2 and a 320i and call me a snob but i would choose the bmw any day of the week.

Apparantly there is some sort of reflash for the CU2 that fixes the issue coming soon.

LOL, and that is why Honda OZ took all Euro advertisement for a while (any1 notice? no euro ad on drive paper, on cars guide, etc). They just start advertising euro again in the past couple of months...

anyway, can we go on with the topic of "Wheels for CU2" that buddah start, instead of fighting each other? Where are the moderators if you need them???

Lets not forget Subaru and the hesitation issue on acceleration. I had 2 with the same prob and a mate had a wrx with the issue.
