Shaved my bay and primed it. What colour to paint it?
Nah I don't. It's brand new. Until I respray the whole car I won't be having it on
Fair enough. Any ideas on colour for bay?
either same colour as chassis (not black and don't wanna tell cos' I'm trying to build a sleeper) or purple haha
Hahaha ok. purple would be nice.
On another note, gave my car a quick wash yesterday, and put the rear mudflaps back on :) Went down the road to the park and took a few gay Iphone pics lol

Cleaning gbox
Going to wait till I have money to paint front bar rear wing and bonnet all same time. CBf doing one at a time I guess.
Everybody loves a clean box :) look naice as mang.
Haha maybe man. Always been sketchy with paint. Anything mechanical i am fine with, can wrap my head around it easy. Seeing people do sketchy jobs just turns me off wanting to try it.
Lmzoooo ok ozhobro. U shout paint ;)
took out the engine today, didnt know what i was doing - but its out! now for the EFi conversion disdat.
and is the wing from jdmconcept? where you boys getting it from!?
Thought i would play with my dark blue crx.
I gave it a service and put in a new fuel pump in. Every thing was good when i took it for a drive.
turns out my main relay is fck, i resolderered some bad spots but no luck.
I redid all the solder joints and yet to try it again..
Might try one out of the other crxs
Ouch bro. You must have a few spare ones laying around :P
Its a pain..... Lol
yep just directly from j's to jdmuonept
So.... got my crx going with out too much trouble
bought a pink delsol the other day
I got a call from a bloke about a crx, he's got a 91 stock crx with 27,000 km on the clock, no mods done to it at all, so clean...
Haha man, how much money do you have!
Everyone has their own taste lol
Any crx is a good crx
I beg differ after this meme lol

Plate my climate control
Thought i would see if i could get my red crx to start.
It had been sitting for 10 years with all most no fuel, just gunna say those nut on top of the fuel filter can be a c#nt...
install valvesprings
Running s2k CMC and EK clutch pedal. There are many ways of doing it. But keep in mind that the firewall wasn't designed for a hydro clutch so reinforcement may be required either by creating flanges or reinforcing braces. I've just cut and welded. Henrygiang (maddest username) did a different cleaner approach
Bump ttt
dude we need a build thread for that beast
Yeah.
Anyone got rails for the ed? Wanna put some recaros in but new rails are silly expensive. Anyone found some alternatives?
civic!
Ive got 1990 seats n rails
If the rails fit give me a msg
Got too much to work on spesh getting another car dumped in front of the house like garbage to work on
Anyone know if Crx and jap spec ED6 have same rear disc brakes? Dont know what to look for when buying them
Positive man. Chassis number was ed6 and had rear discs. and the car was previously owned by my friend, and another friend before that and neither have changed it :s
just buy rear brake assembly off an EG Si or VTi.
They can be bolted up, are newer, and easier to find replacement parts for in AUS.
I'm running EG Vti discs all round on my ED. Front have the discs and calipers swapped over but still using the ED knuckle, rears have the whole rear brake hub (trailing arm is still ED part)
+1. post more photos and create a build thread. There are still some ED junkies around that need a fix
prepped and sprayed my hatch spoiler in primer (got a HVLP gun for xmas)
First time I've ever sprayed not using a can. Pretty impressed with the lack of overspray from it

I approve
go to start car, break immobilizer remote. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
http://distilleryimage7.s3.amazonaws...0a1f96e6_7.jpg
Using an led as tweezers... ghetto as hahaha.
So been a month or so since i been on and the sol is moving slowly. Didnt get everything done prior to xmas but got the mounts in and in 2 weeks going in to get the bushes finally done and check a noise around my right wheel...think the hub or drive shaft has crapped itself.....CRAAAAAPPPPP oh well cars ay.
was the last time here what a poor effort.
The imob lost power, went into a safety loop and can't bw brought out until you do a manual override. To do thus you need a 4 digit pin that I done have. Le sigh. (I've worked out how to do it though)
Biggest problem with the remote was that it's surface mount and I don't have a small enough tip :(
can anyone link me to some cheap coilovers for my ed6, i checked skunk2 on ebay but i need to change my lca to skunk2 is it worth it?
Get used
Does anyone know which spec crx in the service manual if I'm trying to repair/troubleshoot my ed9? Previous owner chopped up the harness and need to re-wire electrics. Like should I be looking at a Si Canadian spec car?
Lol like I said. There's eyelet type and the "fork" type. You probably have EG rear LCA's so it will fit. Whereas what skunk2 is saying is the LCA on Pre-89 ED's have a hole in their LCA where the strut slots in rather than the conventional LCA the strut has an end fork that clamps over the LCA
As would i, but sadly i graduated a month ago and have no access to the labs :| Thinking about buying myself a proper resoldering station, oscope and decent power supply but then i realise that i could just buy a whole new car with the money instead ahahahah.
If its a fork type, just need ef8 gear no? Or am i assuming that skunk2 make stuff for forks wheras in reality they only do eg/dc setup?
lol that reply was to Civic EGSI when he said you don't need to change LCA's.
It really depends what you have on the rear, look at the centre of your LCA's and see if there's a hole where the strut sits or whether the strut clamps over the LCA.
not too sure whether the skunk2 coilovers are fork or eyelet type tho, you'll need to check up on that
I've been spending the last few days doing the wiring for my swap.
quick question, pgmfi ecu, the main relay wire from the ecu.
this should only receive 12v when the ignition is on correct?
my ed is hatch year 88, aint all ed6 88 model are eyelets? i cant seem to find any eyelet type coilovers?
