i reckon that system they had played a firly major part in the Imola win actually, their traction from low speed or stopped, amazing.
I think Alonso's biggest competitor right now is Fisichella, Kimi and Juan.
Seeing Fisichella pull the quickest lap at Spain (if only his tyres didn't shit themselves) and he does have the same car as Alonso.
The McLarens have a fantastic car which is so damm quick and well balanced.
Juan and Kimi are both excellent drivers.
This will help Michael creep up the championship.
I don't think Renault's reliability is going to stay strong too much longer and McLaren are going to start winning more races.
I hope Toyota take on Renault but Ralf can't pass without hitting and Trulli isn't that arrgressive.
but Michael still has to win races to catch up, which means he has to beat all those guys regularly......
see how he goes in the next two, if he doesn't win one, i think its gonna be a struggle.
He isn't going to win Monaco, the McLarens are too quick and there tyres work perfect for them.
After that, the older tracks, plus Turkey which no one has data on and if Bridgestone can get Ferrari to sign with them again (the other day) to extend there contract something must be planned or they know something.
Might be a struggle, but Ferrari and Schumacher with some help from Bridgestone could make it happen.
Lets have a look at the drivers championship.

LAST - Sato 0 points!
Michael is 34 points of Alonso, so 3 wins = 30 but Alonso will get points here and there when Michael wins. He might get 2nd and recieve 8 points which means Michael only make 2 points on him.
But with Kimi, Juan, Fisichella, Trulli and Ralf as good competition it might see Alonso in 3rd or 5th if he has some troubles and spread the points out which helps Michael.
Oh look, f1.com made a point of Sato being last :D
lol @ Jase!
As good as MS thinks he is, titles over n3gr0, just accept it u old d0g :P even if alonso doesnt win, Kimi/Fisi/JPM/Trulli all are ahead with BETTER, Ill repeat BETTER and once more for good measure, BETTER cars than Ferrari, hell even Webber is going better :P
lol ralf is funny like that lol always runs into people, i remember in 98 when he took out michael lol (ruined michaels 98 championship)Quote:

lol this one is 15 pages long f*** reading all that lol
Ok, I'll make a thread for F1 competition points ONLY!
No chit chat and that in it (I'll write all this in the thread)
Most talk should happen in F1 Discussion thread.
Sperate thread for each race will be made.
Good idea, there is a lot of threads at the moment.
sounds good jase! Tonne of threads goin lol
Ok, All done.
Made seperate thread which is a sticky and you can't post in, only contains the results of each race and the total tally.
When this thread hits around 200 posts I'll lock it and make another one.
Any other suggestions please feel free to tell me and we can alter the forum to make it better.
only thing left to alter is ur avatar :)
Are you sure the punctures at Catalunya were because the tyres were crap? Doesn't seem right to me. And remember Imola? It's only two races ago where he OWNED everyone and was 2sec/lap faster than anyone at the end of the race. Everyone thought, here we go, Ferrari is better than everyone else again.
What happened between Imola and Catalunya that made the Bridgestones shit? They did 200 laps of testing too.
I can see the problem with them warming up. Something's very wrong in the Ferrari qualifying. But also remember Michael has made some mistakes in qualifying too.
Are you saying the tyres are shit in qualifying only or that they're shit all-round? And the Ferrari setup might have something to do with chewing the tyres. Given the Imola performance, I can't see the evidence to support the claim that it's solely the tyres at fault.

You could write a novel on that forehead! :D
lol yes you could but he is a better driver than you :p
why is everyone so against michael? everyone is jelous... dont hate the player, hate the game lol
I've got nothing against the Schu. He's a great driver. I'm just making fun of his forehead, he knows I mean nothing by it. :p

With a bit of make-up and a couple of corks in his neck, he'd make a good Frankenstein's Monster.
'could' ... but i can't see it happening lol :DQuote:

Rossi targeting F1 in 2007
According to Yamaha team boss

Rossi to make the jump?
Valentino Rossi can do things on two wheels that only his rivals can dream of. With six championships already to his credit, the Italian Moto GP rider has little left to prove in the series.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport Yamaha team boss Davide Brivio stated that Rossi will extend his current contract another season taking him to the end of 2006 and will then try his hand at Formula One. "We have already agreed on a one-year contract and we know that from 2007 he will be in Formula One," Brivio said.
Rossi has long stated that his wish to try something new at some point in his career and admits that at the end of 2006 he will look at what offers he has and then make a decision. Previously Rossi tested with Ferrari at Fiorano but according the Rossi, Ferrari is not the only team that could be interested in his services.

I'm sure it was Ron Dennis and Todt that said Rossi was better on 4 wheels then he was on three wheels.
Now thats a scary thought.
3 Wheels? You're on Drugs

It is all change for Red Bull Racing in 2006
One of the most intriguing questions following the announcement that Ferrari are to switch the supply of its customer engines from Sauber to Red Bull in 2006 is whether Red Bull Racing will move from Michelin tyres to Bridgestone in order to try and ease the testing burden on Ferrari.
Ferrari have recently argued that with just Jordan Toyota and Minardi also running on the Japanese rubber, the team are in a position where they effectively handle all of Bridgestone’s tyre development programme. With Michelin seemingly ahead it is logical to assume that Ferrari will be asking Red Bull to consider a switch in order to try and readdress the tyre balance in Formula One.
Another issue that is ongoing is the proposed split between what we know as Formula One and a new series organised and run by the manufacturers. Ferrari is the only team currently on the books of the Bernie Ecclestone-run Formula One for 2008. It remains to be seen whether Red Bull Racing will follow Ferrari in committing to a long terms deal with Formula One.
Only time will tell whether Red Bull will commit to the ideals being put forward by Ferrari.

Lol, 3 wheelers!! If it has wheels, Rossi can master it!
I reckon he should keep on going with WRC. Problem is, he can't really run in WRCs while with Yamaha. So he has to basically sign a deal with either F1 or WRC before he can properly drive one.
The best way into F1 is by first being a test driver. The best way into WRC is to do rallies with a privateer team. I don't think he can do either until his Yamaha contract expires.
Thatll be good getting Red Bull on some bridgestones cause their definetly a competitive team atm, the extra testing will bring back the tyre wars! Theres no war on at the moment with Michelin dominating it.
I heard about Sauber getting engines elsehwhere, you know who will supply them Jase?
Damn Rossi, that guys just a freak honestly, wonder what team he'll go for, or will go for him....
Yeh, Sauber will be supplied by BMW.
I heard that BMW has had enough of Williams and wants to supply teams with engines and since Toyota has been going so well they want a BMW team (rumor has it)
So Toyota, BMW & Honda will supply engines to who wants them.
Ferrari will supply an engine to who wants it and helps them with the Bridgestones.
Just five races into the season and already the Formula One rumour mill is well on its way to naming the grid for 2006.
Last week's decision to ban BAR for two races effectively settled the argument over where Jenson Button will drive next year.
The Englishman needs 70% of the world championship leader's points by the end of the Turkish Grand Prix on August 21 if BAR are to keep him.
But he will return to action for round seven at the Nurburgring without a single point to his name.
BAR are confident they have a car capable of challenging for victories but for their contract clause to kick in, they will need a miracle.
Assuming Button falls short of that target, a long-term contract with Williams kicks in for 2006 which would see the 25-year-old return to the team with which he started his Formula One career.
This is where facts end and rumours begin.
It is no secret BAR would have replaced Button with test driver Anthony Davidson had they lost their star driver last season to Williams.
They even blocked the up-and-coming Davidson from testing a Williams to ensure he is their property in the long term, a move which must make him favourite to step into Button's shoes next year.
A wildcard in all this is Indy Racing League star Dan Wheldon, a former karting rival of Davidson and Button and a favourite of engine supplier Honda.
Despite Wheldon's success in the United States, he is unlikely to be thrust straight into a race drive and considering his new-found fame in IRL, a test berth would seem a step down.
Button's expected arrival at Williams will mean the end for one of their current racers, and few would bet on Mark Webber being that man.
The Australian is revered at Williams, meaning late signing Nick Heidfeld is odds-on to make way, with Sauber a possible destination.
BMW announced last weekend they are almost certain to supply Sauber with engines in 2006 and their keenness to have a German driving their cars would make Heidfeld the ideal replacement for the under-performing Jacques Villeneuve.
The former world champion is struggling at Sauber and the prospects of him seeing out his two-year contract are bleak.
So too are those of David Coulthard, who despite a superb season so far for Red Bull looks set for an undeserved exit come the end of the season.
The Scotsman has been the surprise of the season in earning 10 points for Red Bull but the team's owner Dietrich Mateschitz has already indicated his preference for a Christian Klien-Vitantonio Liuzzi partnership in 2006.
That would put Italian star Liuzzi behind the wheel of a Ferrari-powered car next season, the last season Michael Schumacher is contracted to race.
Liuzzi in a Ferrari in 2007 becomes very plausible - but most paddock rumours are very plausible until they turn out not to be true.
This time last year both Mika Hakkinen and Villeneuve were said to be on the verge of signing for Williams, Giancarlo Fisichella was staying at Sauber and Formula One was preparing to race in Switzerland.
There are 10 months to go before the 2006 season start and 10 months is a long, long time in Formula One.
jesus nice write up there! So much info and rumours. Dont even know what to type about there was so much. Be interesting to see how it turns out towards the end of the seaon for BAR, Williams and Red Bull.
Dude, I just copied and paste from planetf1.com
Stuff writing all that up!
I don't know why Red Bull even hired David, I would of kept Klein and Luizzi as the drivers.
I think Davidson will prove how good he is and BMW will jump on him, he is better then Jenson and BMW will give Webber the big kick in the ass and have 2 Brittish drivers so Martin and James can talk about it all during the race saying how STELLA they are.
The biggest thing about next year, will be the new engines and chassis adjustments.
http://people.freenet.de/f1network/picture11.jpgAnyone remember this?
Yeh it will be a different one for sure with those V8's, interesting to see if it affects any of the teams or it stays relatively similar. YES i remember that pic! that was insane one of the worst looking ones Ive seen in my time
Can we get some description on the pic??
Geez from memory, Michael started back in the field around 13th I think, and had a real slow start.
The Prost I think it was, had a great start and had no where to go with the arrows and _______ on the other side.
He hit (Bernodi I believe) Michael and went straight in the air and hit or caused another accident with a Minardi I think it was.
Please correct me if anyone can remember it better.
sounds good to me, I wouldn't of been able to name names in that one
was that at Hockenheim?
Either there or at Hungaroring not sure which one.Quote:

(GMM) Embattled BAR-Honda may re-employ 2004 F1 principal David Richards, it is rumoured.
Amid the cheating scandal, lower than expected performance and the fight to retain Jenson Button, the Prodrive boss is speculated to be in the frame for Nick Fry's job.
UK publication 'People' said the Englishman is 'deep in negotiations' and could - although the team is banned from racing there - be confirmed at Monaco on Friday.
''With Richards' wealth of experience,'' a team 'insider' claimed, ''we can look forward to a calming influence.''
In another tabloid newspaper, meanwhile, it is reported that 25-year-old Button got over the break-up with his fiancée by going out with British 800m runner Emma Davies.

All I know is the majority of them are boning damn hawttt chixxxxx :P
They sure are. And it's probably right that we don't know much about what they do outside the sport. I know if I was an elite driver, I'd like to keep my private life private.

seems to have all these unnecessary functions to email photos etc (don't need that shit)
and if you want to connect to the tv you have to buy the dock?!?!?!?!?
