i saw that u just bought the mugen grille in the 'parts for sale' section, khoi. let me know when u get that in and go for the install... so then i can also get ur oem grille :p

i've replied to him saying how come the hood is so expensive and the shipping as well because i got my type R carbon hood for US$365 and shipping for that along with a HEAP of products costed me US$215 by sea from taiwan.

now awaiting to hear for some big discounts :p hopefully lol

As for the hood.. the price is expensive because it is Made in Japan (no brand) and it has a higher build quality and finishing. I have seen the taiwan type and the quality cannot make it.

If you r looking for a cheaper version, we have that too... price is also comparable to the Taiwan type but u need to install bonnet pin as a safety precaution.

why dont you guys (whoever trying to get the RR kit) buy it from thai?
They copy it straight from the original RR kit .. you could even buy the full carbon fibre one's to which off course comes with a price :(

One thing tho guys, not to sound arrogant or anythin, when we are buying somethin cheap you cant expect for "it" to have the quality of something that is more expensive or the original stuff, we gotta compensate it somewhere. For my case my bonnet was cheaper in a way compare to say Js racing but I learn to accept the quality of my bonnet and dont even bother to compare it with anything else..

So in conclusion Good quality products comes with a price. If you want to buy something that guarantee looks good on your car you gotta willing to dig deep! If not learn to live with small defects.

my CF hood is quite good. no defects at all. the person i got it from got it redone cause he wasn't happy with the quality he saw before he sent it to me :thumbsup:

any more buyers for Mugen RR kit, Type R, Mugen lip kit, INGS kit.

Dominator is a different kit. the picture a few pages back i have shown, the back bumper is different. Will try and see if dealer can get it when he is over there.

anyone know of a diy to install mugen grille into fd?

k: i think shimian did a small diy at the start of this thread but the pics are gone and I can't remember which page it was specifically. if you're ok with a half guide then dmx did a grill change diy but it was for a type r grille which is in the diy forums

btw..where's dmx? haven't seen him post here lately

aiight thanks mate, i'll have a look later. yeh dont need exactly a mugen grille, any will do - just so i get an idea.. like i cud just pull off the stock one but i wanna know what other people did i dont wreck mine incase aero needs it as a spare lol!

Place the grille on the curve. It should sit nicely into place. All you need to do is to put the black plastic cover ontop of the mugen grille.

Important: When you put the screw into the middle hole, make sure you put ur hand under the black plastic cover and hold the hole of the mugen grille. When you push the screw back, make sure you push the hole on the grille upwards so that your mugen grille wont snap in the middle due to the force going down. The rest is straight forward and hard to damage.

Hard to explain, im happy to clarify further if you dont understand.

is there no need to place any kind of double-sided tape under the mugen grille to help the bottom sit on the curved bit of the bumper?

i think i'll just double-side it anyway.. so it'll have 3m tape on the bottom, and its held in by screws on top/side.

need your help guys =[ - i thuoght i blew the fuse on my ciggie plug but i checked all the fuses and their sweet, and checked for any lights or anything that wouldn't work, and yeah everything is fine so can't be a fuse. But now i don't know whats wrong with my ciggie lighter plug =[..

the way it broke was my stupid friend tried to test some led strips by putting an exposed neg wire to the pos terminal inside the ciggie lighter and vice versa.. then POP! CRACKLE! no more ciggie lighter =[.... anyone know how i can fix this? Should i just go to the dealer? but its such a hassle =[..
