Well anyways got genune ek9 headlights couple days ago :)
Brought her a few weeks ago and have done the following just to get her running and sounding right.
New upper control arm bushings
New air filter
Drained and changed oil and filter
Pulled off and cleaned throttle body and IACV. Bloody filthy
Tightened accelerator cable
wired in rear speakers
Put in 2 grommets to stop massive puddle forming in my car which made me rip it out and remove all underlay and dry carpet for a few days so drove around with the dash and 2 front seat in it, lol.
New drivers side headlight
Adjusted tappets
New rear parcel tray
New floor matts and car seat covers
Flushed coolant and re filled
It has a lot of dents so looking at new panels and spraying it myself in the xmas holidays.
That's all I could think of for now.
just wanna share my new ride.. sold the old ej8 due to having problems on engine and body i got a SILVER EJ8 149k on the clock fresh good engine (better than the red one) and has a enkei wheels but don't know the model ahaha,, it runs better than the old one.. and i have done rear disc conversion on it..

ahaha don't like a dc2 man,, i was looking for a ek4 vti-r,, but so hard to find and my budget are a little bit short so i just grab this one.. anyway can sell it again if i want to,, but this one mat im telling you is a better one.. ahaha so fresh in and out lady owner and im the second owner since bought to the dealership... ^_^
