should be carefull coz the high offset will cause the rear to rub the struts :)

Hey guys was wanting to get some advice on fitment for 18x8.5 +30 all around.
I will be dropped on buddy club n+ with no finger gaps. I will also be getting rear camber arms... but will I also need fronts as well? or will it work with natural camber?? Also with tyre choices it seems that a 215/40/18 at the front and a 225/40/18 in the rear is ideal. I understand that the fronts may need to get pumped out a little but what about the rear??. Also would anyone have any recommendations as to where I could get the work done in sydney?
you wont need a front camber kit, front doesn't camber naturally with a drop, you can go 215/40/18 all round, not issue with that. And i don't think you will need any guard work, only way to tell is to jack the car up and measure it with a tape measure. So u can work out how much clearance you have to work with.
Wow thought I would still need a fair bit of guard work. I guess Ill have to buy the wheels first and go on from there. Thanks !
To be both agressive and practical high 20's are the money.
Why not get out a tape measure and measure the clearnace from the strut to the guard and the hub to the guard to work out how much room you have to work with, then find a set of wheels that fit.

Tyre ware isnt too much of an issue if you can rotate them and have a good wheel alignment. The main problem anyone with fitted wheels will have is cops. They see low+camber+wheel outside guard = defect
so many lols in this thread.
x10hz dropping knowledge though :D
Just wondering, could I just get by with a guard roll if I were to fit 18x9, +35 wheels on zero gap all around. Also, what tyre specs would I need?
Would I need to roll guards if I were to try and fit
17x8 +35 215/45/17 all round
lowered on buddy club n+ and rear camber arms?
Hey guys.. been doing a bit of reading up on wheel specs ETC, but i still cant get my head around everything.
Basically what i'd want to achieve is to have 18 inch jap rims (whatever works/volks/etc that tickle my fancy and come in the correct size), that would sit flush without any rubbing/scraping issues on the natural camber after lowering it a bit. in terms of lowering i wouldn't want it slammed, but enough so the car is fine for daily driving.
does anyone know what wheel width/offset id need, and what tyre specs would suit? I dont really care about having maximum tyre width, as that would dig holes in my pocket :P
cheers
Going to fit 17x9.5 +38 this weekend at the rear and 8.5 +32 at the front. 1 finger gap all round. Excited to see how the fitment goes!
