Removed the foam I had put inside my door to stop the rattling, can now actually unlock/lock my door, also fixed the rattling by reducing the amount of slack the actuator gave to the the lock rod. :)

washed it :)
LOL i actually do studying industrial design.. just ceebs getting the dremel out. LESSON LEARNT.
No pics.. but alignment... new toyo proxes 4's on the front .. and new iridium sparkplugs :)
Tightened up my head unit.. Was sitting a bit loose, so it was sort of flopping up and down a bit, and finally decided it wanted to make a really annoying rattling noise.
So I pulled it out and found it was the metal harness thing, wasnt really holding on tight to the dash where the stock head unit used to, so I pushed in the small triangular clips and made it grab on to the dash pretty tight.. Isn't moving anymore & isn't rattling.
...I just hope I don't have to pull the harness out for a very long time, will be a pain bending those clips back out the way to get it out.
Type R Style lip arrived.. And I don't think I like it, haha. It's gonna be a pain to fit.. I'm gonna do it anyway just to see what it's like, but I can already see myself grabbing a genuine SiR lip next week..
No one's done anything to their EK lately? :(
Well, I detailed my EK inside & out, she's beautiful and clean :)
Picked up some wheels for the ek.

Installed this mugen replica intake!
Couldn't properly test it because of the rain. Had 1 or 2 WOTs and was shocked by the extra performance. The noise was brilliant and i did feel more power! One of the best $450 I've spent on the car!
It didn't come with instructions and was a slight effort squishing it in and bolting it up. But it is solid and a good piece of kit. Well worth the time taken of 3 hours with my GF helping me out.
It's a Tegiwa replica if anyone is interested to know. Ill post another pic showing it fully finished tomorrow!
how hard was it to install? and what short shifter did you put in? :)
put in these the other day.

How do they test height anyways?
100mm wheel on a stick and roll it under car to see if it hits anything?
Yep
It's like a Long piece of wood, a wheel that white in middle and black on edges ( its like the down hill cart wheels but very small) and they just shove it under a car and make sure it hits something just to prove you wrong
When I lowered my car, I used a measure tape to measure a piece of wood, 11 cm give or take, that wheel the cops had had at least 2-3 cm more that didn't clear, so how can the algal height be 100mm??
11cm from my rear resonator ( ek9 b pipes have 2 resonators) one right where the axle flange is) that's my lowered point ATM, that's excluding my beaks bar cause that's low an not factory
If you definitely measured from the lowest point on your car and you're certain you're at or above 100mm from the lowest point, you were either on uneven road, or the cops were just pricks. I'm willing to bet it's the latter. If you can easily get the defect cleared, do it, then put it back again and pass them off as wankers.
was around chapel st, seeing my mate before he left australia... was pretty dog what they did as they waited for me to come to my car than talk to me...
lucky they didnt fined me, although they said they were gonna but saw the uni sticker LOL....
coulda been worse, they coulda done the exhaust, hid and few other things, but other wise, defect for ride height is easy to clear, jack up the coils, clear 100mm, easy :D

Nice updates
Hey did you request that rego or just random?
If I'm correct, so long as the number plate is a combination of letters & numbers & is 6 characters, there are no additional fees, so the number plate could have been requested, but because it fits the criteria, there are no annual fees. Eg. My mum's Kia Rio is "MUMOF-3" and my step father's FJ Holden is "BARN-67" and neither of them pay annual fees.
..It could also be random, lol.
Oh and to be on topic: Installing my SiR lip this afternoon or tomorrow depending if this rain will bugger off for a bit..
Went and and got a 99-00 Bonnet and EK9 (without lip) front bar :)
