well volkspower only have them in black plastic, they say the aluminum locking knobs are an aftermarket accessory. so then i googled passat locking knobs again (not in images only) then found a place in the uk that sell them for $19.95 pounds plus postage and thats for a pair!!. Also i found a place in qld sell them for $12 each. honda sell oem ones for $6.30 each which means i'm getting the hacksaw out :D But... i'm going to try an make them myself out of aluminum and maybe use a black rubber O ring or two for looks. :cool:

now i need a 4m tap going to bunnings after work btw i cut it, i'll post pics when finished.

what year is the car? My 06 doesnt do it when on "ALWAYS ON". It only works when on the variable setting.

I sit straight up, like on a full bucket seat.

There is a fuel cut off switch under the dash below the steering wheel, near the steering column.

The Cabin have a tempreture sensor at the dash, near the signal stalk area.

Any points for me?? [:D]

do you have the workshop manual or something? :P

It's all in the manual...

With the wiper stick on Intermittent, turn the adjustment knob all the way to the "fastest wipe". Then, when you're stopped they go on intermittent but when driving they run on normal "slow" speed.

I reckon about 95% of the stuff in this thread is in the manual, but still its much more fun reading it all here.

Oh, and according to the manual, Cruise Control works above 40km/h only.

I see now. When you said "Always on", I didnt know you refering to the Intermittent setting when its turned all the way up. Thought you were refering to the next wiper stick level down, "Constant".

Anyway, yeh most of its in the manual. lol @ the Fuel cutoff Switch under the dash, had no idea that was there.
