EP3 Type R

Sorry guys, stock header are good, however most aftermarket ones, cheap or not would out perform it. The obx ones are actually quite good in terms of performance but just lacking in quality. But having said that, still very good value for money. (Yes, I have fitted one to a car).

Headers would be at the bottom of the list in terms of mods for EP3. Order IMO would be;

1) INTAKE
2) 60 to 75mm cat back
3) Save up and do headers, high flow cat, RBC and ECU together so you only have to do one tune (maybe throw in stage 1-2 cams). This would depend on how much you want to spend!

I can tell you that there is no difference between GruppeM and CAI. People will argue with me, all I can say is some people like brand and bling, some people like mods that work.

Engine mount movement.......its getting a little repetitive!

his exhaust is stock.....

yeah mounts were done 2 monthish ago, my guess is the exhaust....

also whats the diff between rbc to stock ep3 ones?

anyone no what power diff would be between a gutted cat and sumfn like a T1R test pipe? Also noise diff?

What mounts/exhaust you got?

RBC is about 5kwatw when tuned.

Gutted cat and test pipe the same principle! straight through without restriction. Test pipes are used generally for track/drag etc and can be swapped with a cat.....where as a gutted cat (decat) is more permanent.

What is rbc?

So nepolian, based on what you have said, would I be able to go to.....I dunno my local carline mufflers and got them to concoqed some headers up it would be okay?
