540km!! new fuel filter ftw!!
i drive from maroubra to wetherill park each day of the week, so traffic is varied
I should really try changing mine sometime! :(
i also use that premium unleaded or ultimate unleaded depending on what the servo has, my vtak feels nicer wiff the 98+ ;)
:\ i only got 320 out of my full tank - 98 vortex
highway driving isn't the best for me. at 100km/h i'm at like 3600 revs
i've read a few pages of this and not one person has mentioned the changing of the O2 sensor... mine died recently (misdiagnosed as ICM issue) and it perfectly explains the shitty mileage... the one part on the car that actually dictates fuel usage in closed-loop / cruising / partial throttle
heres a good read:

^^give the poster some +rep for useful info
Hmm bosch... how about denso!?
i've noticed that if i use v power latey i get worse milage.
I've switched to vortex 98 now and getting better milage
Our old ED auto with 275k on the clock still does approx 6.7 litre per 100k around town
my EK1 get about 280-320 for a full tank on the high octane
why is that?????i dont fang it all the time
reakon might need to change fuel filter or the O2 sensors
an ek1 should get at least 400 km minimum.
Follow these step (ranked from the easiest) and see if it improves the consumption....
1. change the driving way. Shift at 2500 rpm. I drive like a nany, but I save my wallet. :P
2. do ecu reset.

3. change fuel filter.
4. change oxygen sensor.
This should be in sticky i think
