Seats are uncomfortable on long trips. going to the coast on tuesday is going to be balls.
harden up princess, its really not that bad lol. its not like you have buckets...
Its not that bad, but since I'm traveling tomoz thought I'd post what I'm going to find annoying.
water leaks
1. Poor lumbar support on the seats (I'm getting old, long drives make my back ache)
2. Torque steer
6. No LSD, on my VTiR anyway
7. FWD
3. Crappy plastic top tank on the radiator (I have a new one now)
4. The clutch seems to wear out quickly, but that might just be the way I drive
5. The price of standard exhaust parts (I like to keep it stock)
8. The tightening bolt for the steering requires the sub-frame to be removed (so my mechanic tells me).
The rear boot lip sometimes annoys me when I put heavy things in my boot, but then it is a sports car so I really forgive it for that. I can also forgive it's poor turning circle.
Despite all that, even though I have the money to upgrade, I really can't find another car I'm interested in replacing my DC2 with - apart from an E46 BMW M3, which is outside my price range just now. ;)
For my old dc2 vtir
1. Temperature lever is a bitch to move.
2. Small rear window, hard to see out.
3. Rear water nozzle doesnt work.
How about the things we like about them?
I love DC2s, parts galore and they a freakin awesome to drive on boost with v-tec!
If only they all came as Type-Rs in standard form. They are the ultimate street weapon IMO.
