Don't get Kumho KU21. I've had them for the past 3000km and they're terrible. Ride and tyre noise is fine, but they have no grip both in the wet and dry. Way worse than the almost bald tyres that came off the car...

I use Bridgestone Turanza E300 and love them for their silence and grip. The silence is deafening - I love it.

Beautiful touring tyre - no issues with grip either at 205/50/R16 on a CD5 Accord.

Damn I had decided to get the Kumho KU31's 225/45/17 as they are much cheaper but get good reviews. Turns out Kumho had a big price rise at the end of last year. KU31's are $196 each from www.option1garage.com.au and $215 fitted from a Bob Jane in Adelaide. The tyre manager at option1 confirmed that Kumho has lifted prices via email. Used to be able to get them around $130 at option1 :(

Oh well, still cheaper than Yoko C Drives I was quoted $290 at the same Bob Jane.. Yikes. Might have to call around a bit more. Any Adelaidians here got some recommendations for good tyre places?

Have just got new tyres on my CU2 Lux (55K on the OEM Michi's)
Apparently I got the last set of 235/45 R18's of any brand in Aus according to BJ, Jax, Tyrepower
Not sure if true guy's but I have been searching prior to Xmas, hope no one needs tyres soon. Was told by several shops that it will be 12 weeks before any stock lands in OZ

Ended up with Continentals at $500 a corner (they were shipped up from Melb to Brisvegas) - unfreakinbelievable

Koreans rose the price is probably becasue the the ZETUM's for same in bobjane which are made by Kumho

They had to adjust the price to make sure the Zetums sell...

In the market looking for some new rubber for wheel 225 40 r w 18.. went to bob jane in vic and was recommended 4 tires.. bridgestone re001 addrenline $390 / yokohama v103 $390 / yokohama c drive $369 and faulken ze912 $240.... the guy told me that the faulken is a good tire and they put them in all taxis so i can assume they have a good wear rate..anyone drove on them before? heard allot of good things about the yokohama.. but at $1500 its a bit steep.. but i will consider if it is worth it. what you reckon?

get Michelin Pilot Sport 2 in 225 40 18 delivered from tirerack.com for AU$1200.
