lol okay - if you put that way hehe
it looks hardcore like a peugot 206.
It seems to me that honda is trying too hard to be a lexus at a cheaper price and sucking up to the European styling in the process.
I personaly think those lights were highly expected car companies tend to make their lineup of cars similar to each other in SOME respects so that they are readily identifiable with each other. See for example the Mazdas right now...they all have VERY similar tail and front lights
THe Euro lights were on the accord, MDX and Ody, so it probably might be on the civic...
Personally i dont hate it...much... as long as the thing comes out with DOHC VTEC, doesnt even have to be an R, just DOHC VTEC
Funny you should say that, Ive heard that Honda in general is trying to break away from the street racing / illegal culture, where as mitsubishi and other japanese car manufacturers are embracing it bringing out sporty, sleek new designs which target the young youth market enthuisest, meaning they rely on this demographic to generate sales now and in the years to come.Quote:

i dont need to say what we all do when we see a camery on the rd do i.
if i could id slap the guy that developed this styling and hopefully kncck some sense into him.....if you could'nt tell im not a fan
Yeah looks like a piece of poo if u ask me lol
sorry forgot to mention the wheels with the poo
Well - at least the EP owners won't have the dubious honour of having the "ugliest Civic ever" title when this fugly piece of crap hits the road :D
ummmmm i dont really see nissan embracing the sportiness thing? i mean sure they got the 350z, which rocks, but ntohing else? but since the new pulsar is due in like a few months maybe things will change
mitsu may be doing just that as they seem to be hell bent to mivec everything nowdays... mivec lancer is coming next year + a proper manual colt turbo i heard
sigh.... honda sucks atm, but i still reckon the civic could save the scene for hondas in australia if it had DOHC, 100kw + and a nice chassis... it would be something like the eg si/vti... which ppl embraced
but has neone actually conisdered with the demise of the B-Series engines (due to emission laws, etc etc) the reason honda has not brought out any sport models for the 7th gen civic in Australia and most of the world was cos of the lack of engines?
I mean besides from the K20 theres ntohing else... K24 is way too big. I do tend to think we might get a "below Type R" (ie: VTIR) civic again in australia if honda manages to produce an engine that doesnt compete with the Teggy Type S. Is there such a thing? K16A maybe|?
Isn't the K20 in the CTR a LEV motor? I would have thought it would be fine with emission.Quote:

honda needs to make another smaller K for the civic/uber jazz. otherwise its going to get trumped by the new lancers, colt, mazda 3, new pulsar (which i read has AUtech or something, basically VTEC for nissans)
i mean even if Honda wants to move away from the street scene, it still needs to have powerful cars. Even my mum, who has never ever got ONE single demerit point in her life, wants a powerful car, to the extent where she's would say (when comparing a Accord Euro with a Maxima) "but the maxima has more power"
not the greatest lookin civic around, i agree, once the EK left the shelves it started going downhill...
