i mean, it doesnt really matter whether this car is rebuilt or not. but as I was told from the owner I knew. it was rebuilt into an AU shell, hence the lights aren't the right ones etc.
but all drivetrain, engine, interior etc are all EK9

okay. i have been told, that we cant have genuine ek9 in NSW. but looks like i was wrong. from reading the last few posts, there are 3 genuine white CTR's in NSW. howcome so less? and what are the possible ways to get them in. cheers.
whatever it is - ive raced it aaaagggeeeees ago in my friends type R *NOT ON THE STREET I SWEAR*.
Last ive heard , its been in a large front end accident...so....whatever it is - it IS a rebuild eheh.
private import and thats it. no other way anymore
does that mean buy the car overseas, stay there for 12months or more, then bring back here ? to NSW ?Quote:

Sorry I should have said the only "LEGAL" way of getting one is though private import. You could take the risk and import it as a race car and then buy a repairable write off cxi/gli/vtir hatch and rebirth it.
saw that car too
nice and zippy lil car
Hey guys, what does it take to bring a CTR into NSW?...if it is genuine...and had been privately imported in another state, say QLD?
nighryder: good question. do you mean if its alreay in, say melbourne, how can we bring it to NSW ? if so.. i wanna know aswell. just to satisfy my curiosity.
