Just get some proper tyres :)
yeah i got no clutch buzz from mine by the way. :)
Dude diffs and driveshafts are like elastic bands, some break easily, some take some punishment. Drifting killed mine more than once. I actually managed to break an inner joint and snap 4 teeth on the crown wheel from doing a 9K launch. Ha Ha! Ah the sound of breaking metal. I'm seriously considering fitting an S15 diff, with custom billet inner joints. Then there shouldn't be any prob's.
One of the guys up here has a custom S13 diff fitted. Theres a big thread on it here on OzHonda IIRC ; but he still managed to break it eventually.
lol.. well i kind of dont launch passed 5 now.. kinda scared it will happen to me.. i have enough power to catch up anywaay most things in melb suck ass so meh lol. like today a VNSS pulled up next to me i launched at 4 and supprisngly i got wheel spin.. never used to get that on bald tyres even rofl.. but anyway he got the better start from 2nd gear onwards i left him for dead.
Yeah i seen the same, as the nissan crown wheels are also renouned for cracking/breaking, i guess if your out to break something, it's bound to happen. It's not that the factory honda diffs are shit, it just we all love to try and fit 255's on the rear with super sticky tyres, and sort of wonder why they break.
lol wow 255.. i thought i was the only one on 255's on an s2000... every s2000 i've seen in melb except 2 have been on 225s i think..
I have replaced one clutch with a stock Honda it’s now great.
I am also getting my drive shafts swapped around due to vibration (cogs wear on one side)
my car has 90K on the clock and I don’t drive slow and drive up the mountain to Tamworth regularly and 1 track day so far plan to do more its sick!
