electricial tapes to wrap things up (K Mart; Jaycar; Bunnings);
soldering iron (i'll bring one);
and don't forget the light bulbs.
use female speaker plugs to plug the wires into the bayonnets (bulb holders) and wrap them up with tape or heat shrink tubing for insulation.
its much easier than soldering bc there is so little room

oh yeah, female pinouts are easier. they're available at Dick Smith/Jaycar. just make sure the size is right.
i guess we need 6 of those per car.
also some wires are needed too.
